The Department of Pharmaceuticals on June 16, 2025, issued a notification inviting applications for the eligible products under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Promotion of Domestic Manufacturing of Critical Key Starting Materials (KSMs)/Drug Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) in the country.
The following has been stated: -
•The deadline for applications under the PLI Scheme for domestic manufacturing of Critical KSMs, Drug Intermediates, and APIs has been extended to July 04, 2025.
•Eligible applicants must apply online, with detailed guidelines and corrigendum available on the department's website. All previous conditions from the May 14, 2025, notice remain unchanged.
•The scheme aims to promote self-reliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
